Creating a New Wiki Page

To create a new wiki page

1. Go to the main page where you want to add the new page. For FAQs and help pages, this would be on the main FAQs page, under the user section.
2. Click on the edit this page tab or link.
3. Locate where you want to add the new page, under an existing header or you can add a new one.
4. Enter the wiki code to add a page link:
   • [[.:new_page_name|My fabulous FAQ]]
   • The brackets enclose the link
   • The .: indicates to create the page in the current directory structure
   • Replace “new_page_name” with the name of your page, all small letters, no space, or special characters
   • Replace “My fabulous FAQ” with the title of your page
5. Click on Save
6. The link will now be on the page, but in red, indicating that it doesn't exist yet.
7. Click on the link and then on the create this page tab.
8. Click on the H1 button and enter the page title.
9. Start adding text - use the “Wiki Manual” link in the left-hand menu to learn more about formatting for doku wiki pages.
